We, “MITORA Pte., Ltd.” believe in the easy and smooth transformation of the energy revolution, changing from oil/coal to sustainable renewable energies through Lithium-ion Batteries, with our new subsidiary “MITORA Energy Nusantara”.

Our “Malino Highlands” resort property will not only have a key role in tourism in the area but will also promote health and wellness, and organic agricultural products in a sanctuary of natural beauty. If the pandemic has taught us nothing, it is that we all desire travel and our focus is on health and wellness, now more than ever. Malino Highlands offers both travel to an exotic location and the ultimate in health and wellness.

Plans are underway to build a training center in Manado for our employees to train and develop happily in harmony, and we welcome Japanese seniors to spend their rest of lives in peace at tranquility at Malino Highlands.

We are Mitora Energy Nusantara

Many countries, including European Union (EU) and Japan, have realised the value of decarbonized societies, and are accelerating research and development into Electric Vehicles (EV) and energy storage using batteries. Since Dr. Akira Yoshino was awarded with a Nobel Prize for Lithium-Ion Batteries (LiBs), there is global competition underway in EV and LiBs manufacturing.

The Government of Indonesia has banned the export of nickel ore since January 2020, So EV and LiBs manufacturers must come to Indonesia in order to secure the key raw materials of Ni (Nickel), Co (Cobalt), Mo (Molybdenum), Mn (Manganese), and others. South Sulawesi in particular, is rich in these resources, with other areas of Indonesia also holding these precious raw materials.

As such, MITORA would like to set up Foreign Direct Investment (FDI / PMA) Company “MITORA Energy Nusantara”(MEN), in order to prepare for the MITORA battery factory that will consist of:

LiBs factories including precursor facilities (Nickel-based Cathodes)
Digital logistic control and distribution center for the stockless supply chains
Utilities facilities such as electric power and water
Waste treatment facilities

MITORA is preparing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). with the local partner to secure the mining and nickel smelting rights and licenses, in order to secure the necessary raw materials such as Ni, Co, Mo, and Mn.

Battery System: A system which incorporates one or more cells, modules, or battery packs. It has a battery management unit to cut energy off in case of overcharging, over-current, and overheating. It may have cooling or heating units. It is a completely functional energy storage system consisting of the pack(s) and necessary ancillary subsystems for physical support, thermal management, and electronic control with the thermal management system and protective circuit module, respectively.

Battery Management System: An electronic system associated with a battery, which monitors and manages its state, calculates secondary data, and reports that data and controls its environment to influence the battery’s safety, performance, and lifetime. The function of the BMS can be assigned to the battery pack or to the equipment that uses the battery.
